Amy opened Music Together Ring-a-Ding Sing! in September 2019. She has been involved with Music Together for 20 years, and loves sharing the joy of family music making with her students! Amy received her Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin. In addition to serving in the classroom as a Teaching Artist for Opera Philadelphia from 2014-2019, she has created curriculum, taught master classes, and authored content for Opera Philadelphia’s popular Sounds of Learning books. Amy has been a member of the chorus of Opera Philadelphia since 2008, where she will appear in their 2023-24 season productions of Simon Boccanegra and Madama Butterfly. Through her private teaching studio, Amy has partnered to serve students through the Make-a-Wish Foundation, has coached young artists at the special request of Pharrell Williams, and most recently became a Private Voice Lesson Instructor at Germantown Academy in Fort Washington. She has appeared with the Santa Barbara Symphony, Kentucky Opera Rudd Young Artists, New Texas Music Works, Austrian American Mozart Academy, and Colorado Lyric Theatre Festival. In the Philadelphia area, Amy has appeared with Bristol Riverside Theatre, the Philadelphia Singers, Children’s Opera Box, and in solo cabaret performances. In her free time, she is Chaos Coordinator of the three Spencer children, and absolutely loves that they still want her to sing them Music Together lullabies at night!

Jessica Jensen
Certified Music Together Instructor
Jessica Jensen is a mother of four and a Bucks-Mont native. She has spent the last 12 years creating rich musical experiences for families and facilitating learning experiences for children. Jessica has been teaching Music Together since 2011 and completed her Level I Certification in 2018. Jessica studied at Berklee College of Music, where she obtained an Advanced Professional Certificate in General Music Studies and a Professional Certificate in Voice Technique. In addition, Jessica has an Early Childhood Diploma from the North American Montessori Center, a 6-12 Orientation Certificate from Association Montessori Internationale along with extensive experience working with children in schools as a music teacher and Montessori classroom assistant.
